Because the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be on the vines; the labour of the olive shall lie, and the cultivated fields shall yield no food; the sheep shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will joy in the God of my saving health.
Rejoice and be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in the heavens; for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
