And to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised all others, he spoke this parable: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. I fast twice in the week; I give tithes of all that I gain. But the publican, standing afar off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven; but smote his breast, saying, O God, be merciful to me a sinner! I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for every one that exalteth himself will be humbled; but he that humbleth himself will be exalted.
















Jesus answered and said, This voice hath come not for my sake, but for yours. Now is the judgment of this world; now will the prince of this world be cast out;


And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key of the abyss, and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and cast him into the abyss, and shut him up and set a seal over him, that he may deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years are ended: after that he must be loosed for a short time.
