Bearing fruit » Who shall yield fruit
Let us not become weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Verse Concepts
But he that received seed on the good ground, is he that hears the word and understands it; who also produces fruit, and yields, one a hundred; another, sixty; another, thirty.
Verse Concepts
And these are they that received seed on the good ground; who hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, one thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundred.
Verse Concepts
But that on the good ground are those who, in a good and honest heart, hear the word, and keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
Verse Concepts
I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine-dresser. Every branch in me that bears no fruit, he takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Now are you pure, through the word which I have spoken to you. read more.
Abide in me, and I will abide in you. As the branch can not bear fruit of itself, unless it abide in the vine, so neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He that abides in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing. If any one abide not in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and withers; and such are gathered, and thrown into the fire, and burned. If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done for you. In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and in this you will be my disciples. As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you shall abide in my love, even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment: That you love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love has no man than this, that one should lay down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you. I no longer call you servants, because the servant knows not what his master does. But I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard from my Father, I have made known to you. You have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you, that you may go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit may remain; that whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he may give you.

Let there be no money-loving disposition; be content with such things as you have. For he has said: I will never leave you, nor will I ever forsake you.
Verse Concepts
Observe the birds of the air, that they neither sow, nor reap, nor gather into granaries. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they? Which of you, by his anxiety, can add one span to his life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow: they toil not, nor do they spin. read more.
But I say to you, That Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these. If then, God so clothes the herb of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore, be not anxious, saying: What shall we eat? or, what shall we drink? or, with what shall we be clothed? For after all these things do the Gentiles seek: for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be given to you in addition. Therefore, be not anxious about the morrow, for the morrow will have anxieties of its own. Sufficient for the day is its own evil.

And he said to his disciples: For this reason I say to you, Be not anxious for your life, what you shall eat; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Life is a greater gift than food, and the body, than clothing. Consider the ravens, that they neither sow nor reap; which have neither storehouse nor granary; yet God feeds them: you are of far more value than the birds. read more.
"Which of you, by his anxiety, can add one span to his life? If, therefore, you can not do that which is the least, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. They toil not, they spin not; yet I say to you, that Solomon in all his glory was not clothed like one of these. If, then, God so clothes the herb of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, you of little faith? And seek not what you shall eat, or what you shall drink, and be not in anxious suspense. For all these things the nations of the world seek after; but your Father knows that you have need of these things. But seek the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be given you in addition. Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

Be anxious about nothing, but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God: and the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the strong hand of God, that he may exalt you in due season. Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you.
