For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time, and it hastens toward the end, and shall not lay. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come. It will not delay.

LORD will perfect that which concerns me. Thy loving kindness, O LORD, [is] forever. Forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Be not misled, God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows this he will also reap.

so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please. And it shall prosper in the thing to which I sent it.

Commit thy works to LORD, and thy purposes shall be established.

But we speak a wisdom of God in a hidden mystery, which God predestined before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age know. For if they knew, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. But as it is written, What an eye has not seen, and an ear has not heard, and have not arisen in a heart of a man, are things that God prepared for those who love him.

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou may be wise in thy latter end.

Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright, for there is a [happy] end to the man of peace.

He who sows iniquity shall reap calamity, and the rod of his wrath shall fail.

So teach us to number our days, that we may get us a heart of wisdom.
