And he shall bring his trespass-offering to LORD for his sin which he has sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat, for a sin-offering. And the priest shall make atonement for him as concerning his sin.

And they said, If ye send away the ark of the God of Israel, do not send it empty, but by all means return for him a trespass-offering. Then ye shall be healed, and it shall be known to you why his hand is not removed from you.

The money for the trespass-offerings, and the money for the sin-offerings, was not brought into the house of LORD; it was the priests'.

Let him not leave us, nor forsake us, that he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his ordinances, which he commanded our fathers. And let these my words, with which I have made supplication before LORD, be near to LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel, as every day shall require, that all the peoples of the earth may know that LORD, he is God; there is none else.
