To the married, however, I give charge - not, I, but the Lord, - that, a wife, from her husband, do not depart, - But, if she should even depart, let her remain unmarried, or, to her husband, be reconciled; and let not, a husband, leave, his wife.



For, the married woman, unto her living husband is bound by law; but, if her husband have died, she hath received a full release from the law of her husband. And Pharisees coming near were questioning him - whether it is allowed a husband to divorce a wife, testing him. But, he, answering, said unto them - What unto you did, Moses, command? And, they, said - Moses permitted, to write, a roll of dismissal, and to divorce. read more.
