I commend unto you Phoebe our sister, which is a minister of the congregation of Cenchreae, that ye receive her in the Lord as it becometh saints, and that ye assist her, in whatsoever business she needeth of your aid. For she hath succored many, and mine own self also.

And when I was present with you and had need, I was grievous to no man. For that which was lacking unto me, the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I kept myself that I should not be grievous to you: and so will I keep myself.

Dearly beloved, thou dost faithfully whatsoever thou doest to the brethren, and to strangers, which bare witness of thy love before all the congregation. Which brethren, when thou bringest forwards on their journey - as it beseemeth God - thou shalt do well: because that for his name's sake they went forth, and took nothing of the gentiles. read more.
We therefore ought to receive such, that we also might be helpers to the truth.



No man shall do evil to another, no man shall destroy another, in all the hill of my Sanctuary. For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, even as though the water of the sea flowed over the earth.

And I saw an angel fly in the midst of heaven having an everlasting gospel, to preach unto them that sit and dwell on the earth, and to all nations, kindreds, and tongues, and people,



And the LORD said unto him, "Who hath made man's mouth, or who hath made the dumb or the deaf, the seeing or the blind? Have not I, the LORD? Go therefore and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say."

And thou shalt speak unto him and put the words in his mouth, and I will be with thy mouth and with his mouth, and will teach you what ye shall do.



And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, that he departed thence, to teach and preach in their cities.

And he said unto them, "Let us go in to the next towns, that I may preach there also: for truly I came out for that purpose. And he preached in their synagogues, throughout all Galilee, and cast the devils out.




After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them, two and two, before him into every city, and place, whither he himself would come. And he said unto them, "The harvest is great: but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest, to send forth laborers into his harvest. Go your ways. Behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. read more.
Bear no wallet, neither scrip, nor shoes, and salute no man by the way. Into whatsoever house ye enter in, first say, Peace be to this house. And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon him, if not, it shall return to you again. And in the same house tarry still, eating and drinking such as they have. For the laborer is worthy of his reward. Go not from house to house: and into whatsoever city ye enter, if they receive you, eat such things as are set before you, and heal the sick that are there, and say unto them, 'The kingdom of God is come nigh upon you.' "But into whatsoever city ye shall enter, if they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say, Even the very dust, which cleaveth on us of your city, we wipe off against you: Notwithstanding, mark this, that the kingdom of God was come nigh upon you.


Unto them shall I give a token, and send certain of them that be delivered among the Gentiles: into Tarshish, Put and Lud, where men can handle bows; into Tubal also and Javan. The isles far off, that have not heard speak of me, and have not seen my glory, shall preach my praise among the Gentiles

Sing unto the LORD, a new song of thanksgiving; blow out his praise unto the end of the world. They that be upon the sea, and all that is therein, praise him; the Isles and they that dwell in them. Let the wilderness with her cities lift up her voice; the towns also that be in Cedar. Let them be glad that sit upon rocks of stone; and let them cry down from the high mountains ascribing almightiness unto the LORD, and magnifying him among the Gentiles.

But how shall they call on him, on whom they believed not? How shall they believe on him of whom they have not heard? How shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them which bring glad tidings of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things."



And when he had saluted them, he told, by order, all things that God had wrought among the gentiles by his ministration. And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord, and said unto him, "Thou seest brother, how many thousand Jews there are which believe, and they are all zealous over the law.








and with them, Shemaiah, Nethaniah, Zebadiah, Asahel, Shemiramoth, Jehonathan, Adonijah, Tobijah and Tobadonijah, Levites: and with them Elishama and Jehoram, priests. And they taught in Judah, and had the book of the law with them, and went about throughout all the cities of Judah and taught the people.


As they ministered to the Lord and fasted; The holy ghost said, "Separate me Barnabas and Saul, for the work whereunto I have called them." Then fasted they and prayed, and put their hands on them, and let them go. And they, after they were sent of the holy ghost, came unto Seleucia, and from thence they sailed to Cyprus. read more.

and pray always with all manner prayer and supplication - and that in the spirit - and watch thereunto with all instance and supplication for all saints, and for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to utter the secrets of the gospel,


And the LORD answered me thus, "Say not so, 'I am too young': For thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee unto, and whatsoever I command thee, that shalt thou speak. Be not afraid of their faces, for I will be with thee, to deliver thee, sayeth the LORD." And with that, the LORD stretched out his hand, and touched my mouth, and said moreover unto me, "Behold, I put my words in thy mouth,


And Paul chose Silas and departed, delivered of the brethren unto the grace of God. And he went through all Syria and Cilicia, establishing the congregations.


and therefore when James, Cephas, and John, which seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the righthands, and agreed with us that we should preach among the heathen, and they among the Jews:


and said unto them, "Thus is it written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise again from death the third day. And that repentance, and remission of sins, should be preached in his name among all nations. And must begin at Jerusalem.




And he said unto another, "Follow me." And the same said, "Lord suffer me first to go and bury my father." Jesus said unto him, "Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God." And another said, "I will follow thee Lord: But let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house." read more.
Jesus said unto him, "No man that putteth his hand to the plough, and looketh back, is apt to the kingdom of God."


But Peter and John answered unto them and said, "Whether it be right in the sight of God to obey you more than God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak that which we have seen and heard."




And Jonah made him ready to flee to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD, and gat him down to Joppa, and found there a ship ready to go to Tarshish, and paid his fare, and went aboard, to go with them to Tarshish from the presence of the LORD. But the LORD hurled a great wind in to the sea, so that there was a mighty tempest in the sea: insomuch that the ship was like to go in pieces.




"Up, and get thee to Nineveh that great city, and preach unto them the preaching which I bade thee."


And after they were brought on their way by the congregation, they passed over Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles, and they brought great joy unto all the brethren.
