This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that any person may eat of it, and never die. Truly then we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. For if ye live after the flesh, ye are ready to die: but if by the Spirit ye mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

though we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved,) and hath raised us up together with him, and made us sit down together in the heavenly regions in Christ Jesus.

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by works of the law; because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. For if seeking to be justified by Christ, we also ourselves should be found sinners, is Christ then a minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build up again the very same things which I have pulled down, I stamp myself a transgressor. read more.

Then cometh the end, when he shall deliver up the kingdom to God, and the Father; when he shall have destroyed every dominion and every authority and power. For he must reign, until he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy shall be destroyed, death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, that all things are put under him, it is evident that there is an exception of him, who subjected all things to him. But when he shall have put all things under him, then also the Son himself shall be subjected to him who put all things under him, that God may be all in all.
