This is the beginning of the gospel of Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God.
But after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, spreading the good news of the kingdom of the Messiah.

But Jesus kept silent and gave no answer at all. Again the high priest was questioning Him, and saying to Him, “Are You the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the Son of the
Let the Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed), the King of Israel, now come down from the cross, so that we may see and believe and trust [in Him]!” Those who were crucified with Him were also insulting Him.
