Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even for those who had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression. Adam is in some ways like Christ who came later. But the two are not the same, because God's gift (spiritual endowment) is not like Adam's sin. It is true that many people died because of the sin of that one man. But God's grace is much greater, and so is his gift to so many people through the loving-kindness of the one man, Jesus Christ. And there is a difference between God's gift (spiritual endowment) and the sin of one man. After the one sin, came the guilty judgment; but after so many sins, comes the undeserved gift of righteousness. read more.
It was by the transgression of the one that death ruled as king through that one. Even more so shall those who receive the abundance of grace, and of the gift of righteousness, rule as kings in life by the one, Jesus Christ. The result of one trespass was condemnation for all men. The result of righteousness was justification (acquittal), which brings life for all men. Through the disobedience of one man many have been made sinners. Yet through the obedience of one man many will be made righteous. The law came that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased God's loving kindness increased even more. And what for? Just as sin reigned in death, even so might grace reign through righteousness to everlasting life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christ has risen from the dead, and has become the first fruits of those who slept [in death]. Death came because of what one man did. The resurrection of the dead also comes because of what one man did. In Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. read more.
Everyone will be raised to life in the right order: Christ the first fruits and afterward those who belong to Christ at the time of his coming.

Therefore, through one-man sin entered into the world, and death through sin. So death passed to all men, for all have sinned. Until the law sin was in the world. Sin is not imputed (put on account) when there is no law. Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, even for those who had not sinned after the likeness of Adam's transgression. Now the serpent was craftier than any of the wild animals Jehovah God had made. He said to the woman: Did God really say, you must not eat from any tree in the garden? The woman said to the serpent: We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden. However, God did say: 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden. You must not touch it, or you will die.' read more.
You will not die, the serpent said to the woman. God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened. Then you will be like God, knowing good and evil. When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. Then the eyes of both of them were opened. They realized they were naked. They sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves. The man and his wife heard the sound (voice) of Jehovah God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day. They hid from Jehovah, among the trees of the garden. But Jehovah God called to the man: Where are you? He (Adam) answered: I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid. And he said: Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from? Adam said: The woman you put here with me gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it. Then Jehovah God said to the Eve: What is this you have done? The woman answered: The serpent deceived me, and I ate. So Jehovah God said to the serpent: Because you have done this you are cursed above all the livestock and all the wild animals! You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity (hostility) (hatred) between you and the woman, and between your offspring (seed) and hers. He will bruise (overwhelm) (crush) you in the head, and you will bruise (overwhelm) (crush) him in the heel. (Romans 16:20) He said to the woman: I will greatly increase your pains in childbirth; with pain you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you. He said to Adam: Because you listened to your wife and ate from the tree about which I commanded you, 'You must not eat of it,' cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you. You will eat the plants of the field. You will eat your food by the sweat of your brow until you return to the ground. You came from the ground. For dust you are and to dust you will return.

Everyone will be raised to life in the right order: Christ the first fruits and afterward those who belong to Christ at the time of his coming. In the end Christ will deliver the kingdom to God the Father. Christ will destroy every ruler and all authority and all power. For he (Christ) must rule as king until he (God) puts all enemies under his feet (his control). (Psalm 2; 110) (Daniel 2:44) (Revelation 5:10; 20:6) The last enemy to be destroyed will be death. (Revelation 20:14) According to the Scriptures: God has placed all things under his control (subjection). (Ephesians 1:22) But when he said all things are placed under him, it is with the exception of [God]. For [God] is the one who placed all things under him (Christ). (1 Peter 3:22) (John 3:35) When all things shall be subdued under the Son, then the Son will also be subjected to God who put all things under him, that God may be all in all (ruler over everything).
