Thematic Bible



A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.


He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.




He withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yes, he doth establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

The LORD will not suffer the soul of the righteous to famish: but he casteth away the substance of the wicked.



The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.



Therefore I say to you, Be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by anxious care can add one cubit to his stature? read more.
And why are ye anxious for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field how they grow? they toil not, neither do they spin? And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clotheth the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore be not anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or what shall we drink? or, with what shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want.



The desire of the righteous is only good: but the expectation of the wicked is wrath.



The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.






For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous.


The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:

The way of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD; but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.








He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.


He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honor.


The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted.








Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.


But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.




For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.




The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.
