6 Bible Verses about Acceptance, Of Instruction

Have ye forgotten the exhortation, which speaketh to you as to sons, saying, "My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor saint when rebuked by Him? for whom the Lord loveth He chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom He receiveth." If ye endure chastening, God treateth you as sons; for what son is there, whom the father doth not chastise?

Whomsoever I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent.

And going a little farther, He prostrated himself, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

And He said, Abba, Father, all things are possible to Thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless, not what I will, but what thou wilt.

Father, if thou art willing take away this cup from me---nevertheless, not my will but thine be done.

And we know that all things co-operate for good to them that love God, to them that are called according to his purpose;
