The king said to the prophet Nathan: I live in a house built of cedar. Yet the Ark of God is kept in a tent!

The most High does not dwell in houses made with hands as the prophet says,

The God that made the world and all things in it is the Lord of heaven and earth. He does not live in temples made with hands.
