A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal,
But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.

Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”

“You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing.

Know well the condition of your flocks,
And pay attention to your herds;

“But now ask the beasts, and let them teach you;
And the birds of the heavens, and let them tell you.

Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father.

Then the Lord God took the man and put him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it and keep it.

“For every beast of the forest is Mine,
The cattle on a thousand hills.
“I know every bird of the mountains,
And everything that moves in the field is Mine.

And He said to them, “Which one of you will have a son or an ox fall into a well, and will not immediately pull him out on a Sabbath day?”

Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,read more.
yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock,
In His arm He will gather the lambs
And carry them in His bosom;
He will gently lead the nursing ewes.
