But the chief priests and the scribes, seeing the wonders that he did, and the children crying in the temple and saying, Hosanna to the Son of David, were sore displeased, And said to him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith to them, Yea: have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise?

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my names sake, shall receive an hundred fold, and inherit everlasting life.

Verily I say to you, there is none that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands for my sake and the gospel's, But he shall receive an hundred fold now in this time, houses and brethren and sisters and mothers and children and lands with persecutions, and in the world to come eternal life.

and to requite their parents; for this is good and acceptable before God.

He that is of God, heareth God's words; ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
