7 Bible Verses about Christ's Joy

I have told you all this so that you may have the happiness that I have had, and your happiness may be complete.

At that moment he was inspired with joy, and said, "I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for hiding all this from the learned and intelligent, and revealing it to children! Yes, I thank you, Father, for choosing to have it so!

I tell you, you will weep and wail while the world will be happy; you will grieve, but your grief will change to happiness. When a woman is in labor she is sorrowful, for her time has come; but when the child is born, she forgets her pain in her joy that a human being has been brought into the world. So you, too, are sorrowful now; but I will see you again, and your hearts will be happy, and no one will rob you of your happiness.
