Controlling anger-Psalm 37-8

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, a quiet mind, kind acts, well-doing, faith, Gentle behaviour, control over desires: against such there is no law.

You have knowledge of this, dear brothers. But let every man be quick in hearing, slow in words, slow to get angry; For the righteousness of God does not come about by the wrath of man.

Be angry without doing wrong; let not the sun go down on your wrath; And do not give way to the Evil One.

Be not quick to let your spirit be angry; because wrath is in the heart of the foolish.

And put away foolish and uncontrolled questionings, seeing that they are a cause of trouble. For it is not right for the Lord's servant to make trouble, but he is to be gentle to all, ready in teaching, putting up with wrong,
