And Abraham said, My son, God will provide Himself a lamb for a burnt offering. So they both went together.
You visit the earth and water it; You greatly enrich it; the river of God is full of water; You provide their grain, for in this way You have prepared it. You fill its terraces with water; You deepen its furrows; You make it soft with showers; You bless the sprouting of it. You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drop fatness.read more.
They drop on the pastures of the wilderness; and the little hills gird themselves with joy. The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with grain; they shout for joy and sing.
It is a land which Jehovah your God cares for. The eyes of Jehovah your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even to the end of the year.
You, O God, sent a plentiful rain, by which You upheld Your inheritance when it was weary.

He waters the hills from His upper rooms; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of Your works. He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and plants for the service of man, to bring forth food out of the earth, and wine cheers the heart of man, and oil makes his face shine, and bread sustains the heart of man. The trees of Jehovah are full, the cedars of Lebanon which He has planted; where the birds make their nests; the fir trees are the house of the stork. The high hills are for the wild goats, and the rocks are a refuge for the badgers.
He causes the vapors to rise from the end of the earth; He makes lightnings for the rain; He brings wind out of His storehouses.

And I will make them, and the places around My hill, a blessing; and I will bring down the shower in its season. There shall be showers of blessing. And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase. And they shall be safe in their land, and they shall know that I am Jehovah, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and have delivered them out of the hands of those who enslaved them. And I will raise up for them a noted planting place, and they shall never again be of those gathered by famine in the land, nor shall they bear the shame of the nations any more.
Who provides food for the raven, when its young ones cry to God and wander about without food?
These all wait on You, that You may give them their food in due season. You give to them, they gather; You open Your hand; they are filled with good.
Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are?
Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap, having neither storehouse nor barn, and God feeds them. How much more are you better than the birds?
And yet He did not leave Himself without witness, doing good, giving rain and fruitful season to us from heaven, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
And the riches and the honor are from You, and You reign over all. And in Your hand is power and might. And it is in Your hand to make great and to give strength to all.
In His holy dwelling God is the father of the fatherless, and the judge of the widows.
so that you may become sons of your Father in Heaven. For He makes His sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
For in Him we live and move and have our being, as also certain of your own poets have said, For we are also His offspring.
I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted and the right of the poor.
He raises up the poor out of the dust; He lifts up the needy from the dunghill to set them among princes; yea, He causes them to inherit a throne of honor; for to Jehovah are the pillars of the earth; and He sets the habitable world on them.
All my bones shall say, O Jehovah, who is like You, who delivers the poor from those stronger than he; yea, the poor and the needy from him who plunders him?
Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your rule endures throughout all generations. Jehovah upholds all who fall, and raises up all those bowed down.
who carries out judgment for the mistreated; who gives food to the hungry. Jehovah lets the prisoners loose; the Lord opens the eyes of the blind; Jehovah raises those who are bowed down; Jehovah loves the righteous; Jehovah preserves the strangers; He relieves the orphan and widow, but the way of the wicked He turns upside down.
For You are a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the fearful ones is like a storm against the wall.
And it happened at evening, the quails came up and covered the camp. And in the morning the dew lay all around the host. And when the layer of dew had gone up, behold, there was a small round thing upon the face of the wilderness, small as the hoar-frost upon the ground. And when the sons of Israel saw, they said each one to his brother, What is that? For they did not know what it was. And they said to Him, Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii of loaves and give them to eat?read more.

And they reclined group by group, by hundred and by fifty. But the day began to wear away, and coming up the Twelve said to Him, Send the crowd away so that they may go into the villages and farms all around, and lodge, and get food. For we are here in a deserted place. But He said to them, You give them something to eat. And they said, We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people. And I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. And His disciples said to Him, From where should we get so many loaves in the wilderness, so as to fill so great a crowd? And Jesus said to them, How many loaves do you have? And they said, Seven, and a few little fish.read more.
And He commanded the crowd to sit on the ground. And He took the seven loaves and the fish, and gave thanks, and broke, and gave to His disciples. And the disciples gave to the crowd. And they all ate, and were filled; and they took up seven lunch baskets full of the pieces that was left. And those who ate were four thousand men, besides women and children.
In those days, the crowd being very great and having nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and said to them, I have compassion on the crowd because they have now been with Me three days and have nothing to eat. And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint in the way. For many of them come from afar.read more.

For Jehovah your God has blessed you in all the works of your hand. He knows your walking through this great wilderness. Jehovah your God has been with you these forty years. You have lacked nothing.
Your flock has dwelt in it; You, O God, have prepared in Your goodness for the poor.
He has given food to those who fear Him; He will always be mindful of His covenant.
Therefore I say to you, Do not be anxious for your life, what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Behold the birds of the air; for they sow not, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them; are you not much better than they are? Which of you by being anxious can add one cubit to his stature?read more.
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not toil, nor do they spin, but I say to you that even Solomon in his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Therefore if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much rather clothe you, little-faiths? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For the nations seek after all these things. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.

He keeps the feet of his saints, and the wicked are silenced in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
Because You, O Jehovah, are My refuge; if You have made the Most High Your dwelling-place, no evil shall befall You, nor shall any plague come near Your dwelling. For He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You in all Your ways.read more.

What more could have been done to my vineyard that I have not done in it? Who knows? I looked for it to yield grapes, but it yielded rotten grapes. Israel is a luxuriant vine; he brings out fruit to himself. According to the multitude of his fruit, he has increased the altars. They have made beautiful images according to the goodness of his land. Their heart is divided; now they shall be guilty. He shall break down their altars, and He shall spoil their images.
When Israel was a child, then I loved him and called My son out of Egypt. As they called them, so they went from them. They sacrifice to the Baals, and burn incense to graven images. I also taught Ephraim to go; He took them on His arm. But they did not know that I healed them.read more.
