and yet do not regard him as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
And if your brother sin against you, go and tell him of his fault between you and him alone; if he hear you, you have gained your brother.

But if he will not hear you, take with you one or two more, that, by the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word may be established.
but being judged, we are chastened by the Lord, that we may not be condemned with the world.
But if you are without chastisement, of which all are par takers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
So, then, we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we reverenced them; shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of our spirits, and live?
For they, indeed, for a few days, chastened us as they thought it good; but he chastens us for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
