"Enter ye in through the narrow gate; because wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter through it; because narrow is the gate, and straitened the way that leads to life, and few there are who find it!

"But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because you shut up the Kingdom of Heaven against men; for ye do not enter, neither do ye suffer those who are entering in to enter.

Or know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the Kingdom of God.

For I say to you that, unless your righteousness shall exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

For, as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day on which Noe entered into the ark, and they knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

"And, as it happened in the days of Noah, so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were given in marriage, until the day on which Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Watch, therefore, because ye know not the day, nor the hour!

giving thanks to the Father, Who made us meet for the portion of the inheritance of the saints in light; Who delivered us out of the dominion of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love;

But Jesus, again answering, saith to them, "Children, how difficult it is [for those who trust in riches] to enter into the Kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God."

And Jesus, seeing him, said, "With what difficulty do those having riches enter into the Kingdom of God! for it is easier for a camel to enter through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God."

Hearken, my beloved brethren, did not God choose the poor of the world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he promised to those who love Him?

Come now, ye rich, weep, howling over your miseries that are coming upon you!

But Jesus said, "Permit the little children??nd do not forbid them??o come to Me; for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven."

But Jesus, seeing it, was much displeased, and said to them, "Permit the little children to come to Me; forbid them not; for to such belongs the Kingdom of God.

And Jesus, answering, said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."

Which of the two did the will of the father?" They say, "The last." Jesus saith to them, "Verily I say to you that the tax-collectors and the harlots are going into the Kingdom of God before you.

"Happy are those who have been persecuted for righteousness' sake; because theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.

"Happy are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from themselves, and reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man. "Rejoice in that day, and leap for joy; for, behold, your reward is great in Heaven; for, after the same manner, were their fathers wont to do to the prophets.

And I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the Kingdom of Heaven;

Then he says to his servants, 'The marriage feast, indeed is ready; but those who had been invited were not worthy; go, therefore, to the outlets of the highways; and as many as ye find, invite to the marriage feast.' And the servants, going out into the highways, gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good; and the bridal-hall was filled with guests.
