And the Angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush; and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. Then Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great vision, why the bush is not burnt.
And I saw, as it were, a sea of glass mingled with fire and those that had gotten the victory over the beast and over its image and over its mark and over the number of its name stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

In the daytime also he led them with a cloud and all the night with a light of fire.

For what is all flesh that it should hear the voice of the living God that speaks out of the midst of the fire, as we heard, and live?

For, behold, the LORD will come with fire and with his chariots like a whirlwind to render his anger with fury and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Our God shall come and shall not keep silence; a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
