And all the people saw the thunderings and the lightnings and the noise of the trumpet and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.

God shall thunder marvelously with his voice; he does great things, which we cannot comprehend.

The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters. The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD broke the cedars of Lebanon.read more.

And ye came near and stood under the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire unto the midst of the heavens, with darkness, clouds, and thick darkness. And the LORD spoke unto you out of the midst of the fire; ye heard the voice of the words, but saw no likeness; only ye heard a voice.

The LORD spoke with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire

For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar as Manoah and his wife looked on, and they prostrated themselves on the ground on their faces. But the angel of the LORD did not appear any more to Manoah and to his wife. Then Manoah knew that he was the angel of the LORD. And Manoah said unto his wife, We shall surely die because we have seen God.

A fire shall go before him and burn up his enemies round about.

And I will show wonders in the heaven and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down; touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.

And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God and from his power; and no one was able to enter into the temple until the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

And it came to pass as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the sons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, I come unto thee in a thick cloud that the people may hear when I speak with thee and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

Then Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount. And the glory of the LORD abode upon Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days, and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

And when Moses would enter into the tabernacle, the pillar of cloud would descend and stand at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD would talk with Moses.

And the LORD descended in a cloud and was with him there proclaiming the name of I AM.

And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in the pillar of cloud, and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.

and the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron, thy brother, that he not enter at all times into the sanctuary inside the veil before the seat of reconciliation, which is upon the ark, that he not die; for I will appear in the cloud above the seat of reconciliation.

And on the day that the tabernacle was raised up, the cloud covered the tabernacle over the tent of the testimony; and in the evening there was upon the tabernacle, as it were, the appearance of fire until the morning. So it was always: the cloud covered it, and the appearance of fire by night. And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the sons of Israel journeyed; and in the place where the cloud abode, there the sons of Israel pitched their tents.read more.
At the commandment of the LORD the sons of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched camp; as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle, they rested. And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the sons of Israel kept the charge of the LORD and did not journey. And so it was, when the cloud was a determined number of days upon the tabernacle, according to the commandment of the LORD they camped, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. And so it was that when the cloud remained from evening unto the morning, and in the morning the cloud was taken up, then they journeyed; or if it had remained during the day and the cloud was taken up by night, they journeyed. Or if it was two days or a month or a year that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the sons of Israel camped and did not journey; but when it was taken up, they journeyed.

And when the priests came out of the holy place, the cloud filled the house of the LORD. And the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of the LORD.

And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, and a great cloud, and a fire enfolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Now the cherubim stood on the right side of the house when this man went in, and the cloud filled the inner court. And the glory of the LORD had gone up from the cherubim to the threshold of the door, and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.

While he yet spoke, behold, a cloud of light overshadowed them, and, behold, a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

And a cloud came that overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son; hear ye him.

While he was speaking this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son; hear him.

And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that was seated on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle and reap; for the hour is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is dry. And he that was seated on the cloud thrust in his sickle upon the earth; and the earth was reaped.

And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur. And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, where didst thou come from and where wilt thou go? And she said, I flee from the face of my mistress Sarai. And the angel of the LORD said unto her, Return to thy mistress, and humble thyself under her hands.read more.

Then the LORD said unto Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I of a surety bear a child when I am old? Is any thing too hard for the LORD? At the time appointed I will return unto thee, according to the time of life, and Sarah shall have a son. Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was afraid. And he said, No, but thou didst laugh. And the men rose up from there and looked toward Sodom; and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way. And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that thing which I do, seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation and that all the Gentiles of the earth shall be blessed in him? For I know him, that he will command his sons and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and judgment, that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he has spoken of him. And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great and because their sin is very grievous; I will go down now and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know. And the men turned their faces from there and went toward Sodom; but Abraham stood yet before the LORD.

And Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. And when the man saw that he did not prevail against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was disjointed as he wrestled with him. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaks. And he said, I will not let thee go except thou bless me.read more.

And Joshua went unto him and said unto him, Art thou one of us or one of our adversaries? And he said, No, but I am the Prince of the host of the LORD; now I am come. Then Joshua falling upon his face in the earth worshipped him and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his slave? And the Prince of the LORD's host said unto Joshua, Loose thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place on which thou dost stand is holy. And Joshua did so.

In the year that king Uzziah died I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory and spoke of him.

And above the heaven that was over their heads was the figure of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the figure of the throne was a likeness as the appearance of a man seated upon it.

Then I looked, and, behold, above the heaven that was above the head of the cherubim there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

I beheld until thrones were placed, and an Elder of great age did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like pure wool: his throne a flame of fire, his wheels burning fire.

And immediately I was in the spirit, and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and there was one seated upon the throne.

And I saw a great white throne and him that was seated upon it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and their place was not found.

Above it stood the seraphims; each one had six wings; with two he covered his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew.

Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance: they had the likeness of man. And each one had four faces, and four wings. And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot; and they sparkled like the colour of highly burnished brass.read more.

The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a stone of Tarsis or beryl; and they four had one likeness; and their appearance and their workmanship was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they did not return when they went. And their ribs were high and dreadful, and full of eyes round about them in all four.

And when I looked, behold, four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by each cherubim; and the colour of the wheels was as a stone of Tarsis or beryl. And as for their appearance, the four were the same, as if one were in the midst of another. When they went, they went upon their four sides; they did not turn as they went, but to the place where the first one went, they followed it; they did not turn as they went.read more.

And he said, Hear now my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision and will speak unto him in dreams. My slave Moses is not so, who is faithful in all my house.read more.
