Enter in through the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction; and many there are that go in through it. How strait is the gate, and how narrow the way, that leads to life! and few there are that find it.

And a certain man said to him: Lord, are there few that are saved? And he said to them: Strive to enter in through the strait gate; for many, I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. For if we sin willfully, after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no longer a sacrifice for sins; but a certain fearful looking for of judgment, and a fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.

Serpents, generation of vipers, how can you escape the condemnation of hell?

And the tongue is a fire, the world of iniquity. So is the tongue placed among our members, defiling the whole body, setting on fire the course of life, and being set on fire by hell.
