Then one said to him, "Lord, will those who are saved be few?" And he said to them, "Strive to enter through the narrow door, for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able. What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses or forfeits himself?

And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.

You serpents! You brood of vipers, how are you to escape being sentenced to hell?

But I say to you that anyone who is angry with his brother shall be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Raca,' shall be answerable to the council. But whoever says, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of hell.

And the tongue is a fire, a world of evil among the members of the body. The tongue corrupts our whole person, sets the whole course of our life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.
