If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body," it would not for that reason be any less a part of the body. Now I tell you this, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

Therefore we are always of good courage; and we know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, I say, and would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. read more.

But our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.
