For so the Lord has commanded us: 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.'"
Therefore let it be known to you that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will listen."
So I ask, have they stumbled so as to fall? Certainly not! But through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, to make Israel jealous.

but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you."
Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anyone.
He must also have a good reputation with outsiders, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
