Therefore about eating the things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.

LORD executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his doings to the sons of Israel. LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.
whom God set forth an expiatory sacrifice through faith in his blood, for proof of his justice, because of the passing over of the sins that have formerly occurred (in the forbearance of God), for proof of his justice at the present time, for him to be righteous, and who makes the man from Jesus' faith righteous.
