Hear, O Israel: LORD our God is one LORD.

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, thou Israel, Lord our God is one Lord,

Therefore about eating the things sacrificed to idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is no other God except one.

Now a mediator is not of one, but God is one.

because through him we both have the access in one Spirit to the Father.

I and the Father are one.

how will the administration of the spirit not be more in glory?

LORD executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his doings to the sons of Israel. LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness.

whom God set forth an expiatory sacrifice through faith in his blood, for proof of his justice, because of the passing over of the sins that have formerly occurred (in the forbearance of God), for proof of his justice at the present time, for him to be righteous, and who makes the man from Jesus' faith righteous.
