For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

Thy dead shall live; my dead bodies shall arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust; for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast forth the dead.

Women received their dead by a resurrection: and others were tortured, not accepting their deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:

But when the crowd was put forth, he entered in, and took her by the hand; and the damsel arose.

So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

Thou foolish one, that which thou thyself sowest is not quickened except it die: and that which thou sowest, thou sowest not the body that shall be, but a bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other kind;

On that day there came to him Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection: and they asked him,

For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess both.

And there came to him certain of the Sadducees, they that say that there is no resurrection;

No man can come to me, except the Father that sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.

And this is the will of him that sent me, that of all that which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the last day. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.

But some one will say, How are the dead raised? and with what manner of body do they come? but God giveth it a body even as it pleased him, and to each seed a body of its own. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another flesh of birds, and another of fishes. And certain also of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers encountered him. And some said, What would this babbler say? others, He seemeth to be a setter forth of strange gods: because he preached Jesus and the resurrection.

Jesus said unto them, Is it not for this cause that ye err, that ye know not the scriptures, nor the power of God?

Why is it judged incredible with you, if God doth raise the dead?

So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
