But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised up Christ Jesus from the dead shall give life also to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

For if we have become united with him in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection;

And as they were coming down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, save when the Son of man should have risen again from the dead.

Howbeit, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up. The Jews therefore said, Forty and six years was this temple in building, and wilt thou raise it up in three days? But he spake of the temple of his body. read more.
When therefore he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he spake this; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

And these words appeared in their sight as idle talk; and they disbelieved them.

But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they beheld a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and wherefore do questionings arise in your heart?

And they went away and told it unto the rest: neither believed they them.

and returned from the tomb, and told all these things to the eleven, and to all the rest.

This Jesus did God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses.

And with great power gave the apostles their witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

beginning from the baptism of John, unto the day that he was received up from us, of these must one become a witness with us of his resurrection.

and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;

and that he was buried; and that he hath been raised on the third day according to the scriptures;

Him God raised up the third day, and gave him to be made manifest,

and if Christ hath not been raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.

And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he parted from them, and was carried up into heaven.

then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;

And when he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.

and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye; for I know that ye seek Jesus, who hath been crucified. He is not here; for he is risen, even as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples, He is risen from the dead; and lo, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

And it came to pass, while they were perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel: and as they were affrighted and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? saying that the Son of man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.

See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye behold me having.

And they rehearsed the things that happened in the way, and how he was known of them in the breaking of the bread.

And he took it, and ate before them.

who was declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead; even Jesus Christ our Lord,

I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.

that God hath fulfilled the same unto our children, in that he raised up Jesus; as also it is written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.

We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life.

For thou wilt not leave my soul to Sheol; Neither wilt thou suffer thy holy one to see corruption.

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he hath spoken on this wise, I will give you the holy and sure blessings of David. Because he saith also in another psalm , Thou wilt not give Thy Holy One to see corruption.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to his great mercy begat us again unto a living hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

who through him are believers in God, that raised him from the dead, and gave him glory; so that your faith and hope might be in God.

who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

who was delivered up for our trespasses, and was raised for our justification.

When therefore it was evening, on that day, the first day of the week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

but had certain questions against him of their own religion, and of one Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.

and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain. Yea, we are found false witnesses of God; because we witnessed of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead are not raised.

Now when he was risen early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.

Mary Magdalene cometh and telleth the disciples, I have seen the Lord; and that he had said these things unto her.

Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.

No one taketh it away from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment received I from my Father.

For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

And they kept the saying, questioning among themselves what the rising again from the dead should mean.

and if Christ hath not been raised, then is our preaching vain, your faith also is vain.

and if Christ hath not been raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are of all men most pitiable.

then he appeared to above five hundred brethren at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, but some are fallen asleep;

then he appeared to James; then to all the apostles;

and last of all, as to the child untimely born, he appeared to me also.

Now while they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told unto the chief priests all the things that were come to pass. And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave much money unto the soldiers, saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept. read more.
And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and rid you of care. So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continueth until this day.

But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, unto the mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him ; but some doubted.

that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, becoming conformed unto his death;

saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, After three days I rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest haply his disciples come and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: and the last error will be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a guard: go, make it as'sure as ye can. read more.
So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, the guard being with them.

Then opened he their mind, that they might understand the scriptures; and he said unto them, Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead the third day;

And behold, two of them were going that very day to a village named Emmaus, which was threescore furlongs from Jerusalem. And they communed with each other of all these things which had happened. And it came to pass, while they communed and questioned together, that Jesus himself drew near, and went with them. read more.
But their eyes were holden that they should not know him. And he said unto them, What communications are these that ye have one with another, as ye walk? And they stood still, looking sad. And one of them, named Cleopas, answering said unto him, Dost thou alone sojourn in Jerusalem and not know the things which are come to pass there in these days? And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, The things concerning Jesus the Nazarene, who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him. But we hoped that it was he who should redeem Israel. Yea and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things came to pass. Moreover certain women of our company amazed us, having been early at the tomb; and when they found not his body, they came, saying, that they had also seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive. And certain of them that were with us went to the tomb, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not. And he said unto them, O foolish men, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Behooved it not the Christ to suffer these things, and to enter into his glory? And beginning from Moses and from all the prophets, he interpreted to them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they were going: and he made as though he would go further. And they constrained him, saying, Abide with us; for it is toward evening, and the day is now far spent. And he went in to abide with them. And it came to pass, when he had sat down with them to meat, he took the bread and blessed; and breaking it he gave to them. And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, of the seed of David, according to my gospel:

And behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.

Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;

be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. He is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner.

And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them. Jesus cometh, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

After these things Jesus manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he manifested himself on this wise.
