"For God loved the world so much that He gave His Only Son, so that anyone who trusts in Him may never perish but have eternal life. For God sent His Son into the world, not to pass sentence on it, but that the world through Him might be saved. Whoever trusts in Him is never to come up for judgment, but whoever does not trust in Him has already received his sentence, because he has not trusted in the name of God's only Son.

"I most solemnly say to you, whoever listens to me and believes Him who has sent me possesses eternal life, and will never come under condemnation, but has already passed out of death into life.

After leading them out of the jail, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" They answered, "Believe on the Lord Jesus, and you and your household will be saved."

and so the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "Abraham put his faith in God, and it was credited to him for uprightness, and he was called God's friend."

Let them both grow together until harvest time, and at the harvest time I will order the reapers, "Gather first the wild wheat plants and tie them into bundles to be burned up, but get the wheat into my barn."'" The enemy who sowed them is the devil, the harvest is the close of the age, the reapers are angels. Just as the wild wheat plants are gathered and burned up, so it will be at the close of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all those who cause wrongdoing, and the wrongdoers, and will throw them into the furnace of torturing punishment; there they will wail and grind their teeth. And you will be hated by all men, because you bear my name, but whoever bears up to the end will be saved. But whenever they persecute you in one town, flee to a different one. For I solemnly say to you, you will not cover all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man returns. No pupil is better than his teacher, and no slave is better than his master.read more.

"And if your own hand or your own foot makes you do wrong, cut it off and put it out of your way. It is better for you to get into life maimed or crippled than to have both hands or both feet to be thrown into everlasting torture. And if your own eye makes you do wrong, pluck it out and put it out of your way. It is better for you to go into life with a single eye than to have both eyes to be thrown into the pit of torture.

And a man came up to Him and asked, "What is there good that I can do to possess eternal life?" And He answered him, "Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only One who is perfectly good. But if you want to get into that life, you must practice keeping the commandments." He asked Him, "What sort of commandments?" Jesus answered, "You must not murder. You must not commit adultery. Jesus said to His disciples, "I solemnly say to you, it will be hard for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle's eye than for a rich man to get into the kingdom of heaven." But when the disciples heard this, they were dumbfounded, and asked, "Who then can be saved!" But Jesus looked at them and said, "This is impossible for men, but anything is possible for God." Then Peter answered Him, "We have left everything we had and followed you. What then are we to get?" Jesus said to them: "I solemnly say to you, in the new order of life, when the Son of Man shall take His seat on His glorious throne, you too, who have followed me, will sit on twelve thrones, and judge the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone who has given up home or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or farms, for my sake, will receive many times as much, and in addition will be in possession of eternal life.

I solemnly say to you, the present age will not pass away before all this takes place.

If anyone serves me, he must continue to follow me, and my servant also must go wherever I go. If anyone serves me, my Father will show him honor. Now my soul is troubled; what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour of agony! And yet it was for this very purpose that I came to this hour of agony. Father, glorify your name." Then a voice came out of heaven, "I have already glorified it and I will again glorify it."read more.
The crowd of bystanders on hearing it said that it was thunder; others, however, said, "An angel has spoken to Him!" Jesus answered, "This voice did not come for my sake, but for yours. This world is now in process of judgment; the prince of this world is now to be expelled. And if I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men to me." He said this to show the kind of death He was going to die. The crowd answered Him, "We have learned from the law that the Christ is to remain here forever, and so how can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?" Jesus said to them, "Only a little while longer you will have the light. Keep on living by it while you have the light, so that darkness may not overtake you, for whoever walks about in the dark does not know where he is going. While you have the light believe in the light, that you may become sons of light." On saying this Jesus went away and hid Himself. Although He had performed so many wonder-works right before their eyes, they did not believe in Him, so that the utterance of the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled: "Lord, who has believed what they heard from us? And to whom has the mighty arm of the Lord been shown?" So they could not believe, for Isaiah again has said: "He has blinded their eyes and benumbed their hearts, so that they cannot see with their eyes and understand with their hearts, and turn to me to cure them." Isaiah said this, because he saw His glory; yes, he spoke about Him. And yet in spite of all this, even among the leading men many came to believe in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not own it, for fear of being turned out of the synagogue, for they loved the praise of men instead of the praise of God. But Jesus cried aloud, "Whoever believes in me believes not merely in me but in Him who has sent me; and whoever sees me sees Him who has sent me. I have come as light into the world, so that no one who continues to believe in me can remain in darkness. If anyone hears my words and fails to keep them, it is not I that judge him, for I have not come to judge but to save the world.

When they heard this, they had no answer to make, but gave God the glory, saying, "So God has given even the heathen the repentance that leads to life."

But now, since you have been freed from sin and have become the slaves of God, the immediate result is consecration, and the final destiny is eternal life.

If the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead has His home within you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give your mortal bodies life through His Spirit that has His home within you.

The person who sows to gratify his lower nature will reap destruction from that lower nature, and the person who sows to gratify his higher nature will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

Physical training, indeed, is of some service, but religion is of service for everything, for it contains a promise for the present life as well as the future.

For this reason I am bearing anything for the sake of His chosen people, so that they too may obtain the salvation that comes through Christ Jesus and with it eternal glory. This message is to be trusted: "If we indeed have died with Him, we will live with Him too. "If we patiently endure, we will reign with Him too. If we disown Him, He will disown us too.

Blessed is the person who endures trial, for when he stands the test, he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him.

Let everyone who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. I will give to him who conquers the privilege of eating the fruit of the tree of life that stands in the paradise of God."'"

Whoever conquers will be clothed this way -- in white clothes -- and I will never blot his name out of the book of life, but I will own him as mine in the presence of my Father and His angels. Let everyone who has ears listen to what the Spirit says to the churches."'" These are the men who have not been defiled by relations with women, for they are as pure as virgins, These are the men who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These have been redeemed from among men as the first fruits for God and the Lamb,

And I saw the new Jerusalem, the holy city, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready like a bride to join her husband. Then I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "See! God's dwelling place is with men, and He will live with them, and He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no death any longer, no sorrow, no crying, no pain. The first order of things has passed away."read more.
Then He who was seated on the throne said, "See! I am making everything new." He continued, "Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true." He further said to me: "They have come true. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I myself, without cost, will give to anyone who is thirsty water from the springs of living water. Whoever conquers will come into possession of these things, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

Blessed are those who wash their robes, so as to have a right to the tree of life and to enter the gates of the city.

This is what the story means: The seed is God's message. Those along the path illustrate those who hear it, but then the devil comes and carries off the message from their hearts, so that they may not believe it and be saved.

Whoever trusts in Him is never to come up for judgment, but whoever does not trust in Him has already received his sentence, because he has not trusted in the name of God's only Son. And the ground for the sentence is this, that the light has come into the world, and yet, because their actions were evil, men have loved darkness more than the light. For anyone who is in the habit of doing wrong hates the light, and to keep his actions from being reproved, he does not come out into the daylight.read more.

John answered, "A man cannot get anything, unless it is given to him from heaven. You can bear testimony to me yourselves that I said, 'I am not the Christ, but I have been sent as His announcer.' It is the bridegroom who has the bride, but the bridegroom's friend, who stands outside and listens to him, is very happy to hear the bridegroom's voice. So this happiness of mine is running over. He must grow greater and greater, but I less and less." He who comes from above is far above all others. He who springs from earth belongs to the earth and speaks of earth. He who comes from heaven is far above all others. He continues to bear testimony to what He has actually seen and heard, and yet no one accepts His testimony. Whoever does accept His testimony has certified with a seal that God is true. For He whom God has sent continues to speak the words of God, for God continues to give Him the Spirit without measure. The Father loves His Son and has put everything in His hands. Whoever trusts in the Son possesses eternal life, but whoever refuses to trust in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God continues to remain on him.

For the message of the cross is nonsense to those who are in the process of being destroyed, but it is the power of God to those who are in the process of being saved. For the Scripture says: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and I will set aside the learning of the learned." So where is your philosopher? Where is your man of letters? Where is your logician of this age? Has not God shown up the nonsense of the world's wisdom?read more.
For since in accordance with the wisdom of God the world had never in reality, by means of its wisdom, come to know God, God chose through the nonsense of the message proclaimed, to save the people who put their faith in Him.

Do you not know that wrongdoers will not have a share in the kingdom of God? Stop being misled; people who are sexually immoral or idolaters or adulterers or sensual or guilty of unnatural sexual vice

Now the practices of the lower nature are clear enough: Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, quarreling, jealousy, anger, intrigues, dissensions, party-spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and the like. I now warn you, as I have done before, that those who practice such things shall not be heirs of the kingdom of God.

For you may be absolutely sure that no one who is sexually impure, immoral or greedy for gain (for that is idolatry) can have a part in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Then the representative of lawlessness will be uncovered, and the Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and put a stop to his operations by His appearance and coming; that is, the representative of lawlessness, whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan, with his plenitude of power and pretended signs and wonders, and with a completely wicked deception for men who are on the way to destruction, because they refused to love the truth so as to be saved.read more.
This is why God sends them a misleading influence till they actually believe what is false, so that all who have refused to believe the truth but have chosen unrighteousness instead might be condemned.

See to it, my brothers, that no wicked, unbelieving heart is found in any of you, as shown by your turning away from the ever-living God, but day by day, as long as "Today" shall last, continue to encourage one another, so that not one of you may be hardened by sin's deceiving ways, For we have become real sharers in Christ, if we keep firm to the end the faith we had at first,read more.
and yet the warning continues to be spoken: "If you but hear His voice, you must not harden your hearts as they did in provoking me." For who was it that heard and yet provoked Him? Was it not all who came out of Egypt led by Moses? With whom was He disgusted forty years? Was it not with those who had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the desert? To whom did He take oath that they should not be admitted to His rest, if it was not to those who disobeyed Him? So we see that it was because of their unbelief that they could not be admitted to it.

So let us fear that when the promise for us to be admitted to His rest is still remaining valid some one of you may be found to have missed it. For we have had the good news told to us as well as they, but the message heard did them no good, because they were not by faith made one with those who heeded it. For we who have believed are being admitted to that rest, just as He has said: "As in my anger I took oath, they shall not be admitted to my rest," although God's works had been completed at the creation of the world.

For it is impossible for those who have once for all been enlightened and have experienced the gift from heaven, who have been made sharers of the Holy Spirit and have experienced how good God's message is and the mighty powers of the age to come, and then have fallen by the wayside -- it is impossible, I say, to keep on restoring them to their first repentance, since they continue to crucify the Son of God to their detriment and hold Him up to contempt.

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son does not have life.

Then I saw the wild beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies gather to go to war with the Rider of the horse and His army. Then the wild beast was captured and with him the false prophet who performed wonders in his presence, by which he led astray those who let the mark of the wild beast be put on them and worshiped his statue. Both of them were hurled alive into the fiery lake that burns with brimstone.

Then the devil who led them astray was hurled into the fiery lake of burning brimstone, where the wild beast and false prophet were, and there they are to be tortured day and night forever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated on it, from whose presence earth and sky fled away, no more to be found. I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened; it was the book of life, And the dead were judged by what was written in the books in accordance with what they had done.read more.

But the cowards, the unfaithful, the polluted, the murderers, the sexually immoral, the practicers of magic, the worshipers of idols, and all liars will have their portion in the lake that keeps on burning with fire and brimstone. This is the second death."
