Watch yourself and watch your teaching; stick to your work; if you do that, you will save your hearers as well as yourself.

and studying myths and interminable genealogies; such studies bear upon speculations rather than on the divine order which belongs to faith.

So when I come, I shall bring up what he is doing, babbling against me with wicked words ??and, not satisfied with words, he refuses to welcome the brothers, checks those who want to welcome them, and excommunicates them from the church.

Attend to your Scripture-reading, your preaching, and your teaching, till I come.
