And the angel whom I saw standing upon the sea and upon the land lifted up his hand to heaven
So he came near where I stood, and with his coming, I was afraid and fell upon my face; and he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time appointed by God the vision shall be fulfilled.
And he caused me to understand and spoke with me and said, O Daniel, I am now come forth to cause thee to understand the interpretation.
Yet when Michael, the archangel, contended with the devil, disputing over the body of Moses, he dared not bring against him a curse of judgment, but said, The Lord reprehend thee.
But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors and brought them forth and said,
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son and shalt call his name Jesus.
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant and with thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus; worship God; for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother's womb.
And I Daniel was broken and was sick certain days; and after I rose up, I did the king's business; but I was astonished at the vision, and there was no one who could understand it.
At the beginning of thy supplications, the word went forth, and I have come to teach it unto thee; for thou art a man greatly beloved: therefore understand the word, and understand the vision.
And the angel of the LORD found her by a fountain of water in the wilderness, by the fountain in the way to Shur.
