'Cause' in the Bible

if I have done harm to one at peace with meor have plundered my adversary without cause,

For You have upheld my just cause;You are seated on Your throne as a righteous judge.

A Davidic prayer.Lord, hear a just cause;pay attention to my cry;listen to my prayer—from lips free of deceit.
