'Evil' in the Bible

For You are not a God who delights in wickedness;evil cannot dwell with You.

Let the evil of the wicked come to an end,but establish the righteous.The One who examines the thoughts and emotionsis a righteous God.

See, the wicked one is pregnant with evil,conceives trouble, and gives birth to deceit.

Break the arm of the wicked and evil person;call his wickedness into accountuntil nothing remains of it.

You have tested my heart;You have examined me at night.You have tried me and found nothing evil;I have determined that my mouth will not sin.

Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him;do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,by the man who carries out evil plans.

Turn away from evil and do what is good,and dwell there forever.

Those who repay evil for goodattack me for pursuing good.

When one of them comes to visit, he speaks deceitfully;he stores up evil in his heart;he goes out and talks.

You unleash your mouth for eviland harness your tongue for deceit.
