Then Abraham set seven ewe lambs apart from the flock by themselves.

Abimelech asked Abraham, "What is the meaning of these seven ewe lambs that you have set apart?"

He replied, "You must take these seven ewe lambs from my hand as legal proof that I dug this well."

So that day Laban removed the male goats that were streaked or spotted, all the female goats that were speckled or spotted (all that had any white on them), and all the dark-colored lambs, and put them in the care of his sons.

All the animals for the sacrifice for the peace offering were 24 young bulls, 60 rams, 60 male goats, and 60 lambs in their first year. These were the dedication offerings for the altar after it was anointed.

This is what is to be done for each ox, or each ram, or each of the male lambs or the goats.

You will say to them, 'This is the offering made by fire which you must offer to the Lord: two unblemished lambs one year old each day for a continual burnt offering.
