'Walk' in the Bible
For which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk'?
the blind receive sight and the lame walk, lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, and the dead are raised, and the poor have good news announced to [them].
Which is easier to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say 'Get up and pick up your stretcher and walk'?
Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Get up and walk?'
And he answered [and] said to them, "Go [and] tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear; the dead are raised, the poor have good news announced to [them].
Woe to you, because you are like unmarked graves, and the people who walk over [them] do not know [it]!
And immediately the man became well and picked up his mat and began to walk. (Now it was the Sabbath on that day.)
But he answered them, "The one who made me well--that one said to me, 'Pick up your mat and walk!'"
So they asked him, "Who is the man who said to you, 'Pick up [your mat] and walk?'"
Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world! The one who follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."
So Jesus said to them, "Yet a little time the light is with you! Walk while you have the light, so that the darkness does not overtake you! And the one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
But Peter said, "Silver and gold {I do not possess}, but what I have, this I give to you--in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!"
And [when he] saw [it], Peter replied to the people, "Men [and] Israelites, why are you astonished at this? Or why are you staring at us, as [if] by our own power or godliness we have made him walk?
And what agreement [does the] temple of God [have] with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said, "I will live in them and will walk about [among them], and I will be their God and they will be my people."
I urged Titus [to go], and I sent the brother [with him]. Titus did not take advantage of you, [did he]? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same footsteps?
For we are his creation, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, so that we may walk in them.
This therefore I say and testify in the Lord, [that] you no longer walk as the Gentiles walk: in the futility of their mind,
Become fellow imitators of me, brothers, and observe those who walk in this way, just as you have us [as] an example.
If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
But if we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
The one who says [that he] resides in him ought also to walk just as that one walked.
And this is love: that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
But you have a few {people} in Sardis who have not defiled their clothing, and they will walk with me in white, because they are worthy.
And the rest of humanity who were not killed by these plagues did not repent of the works of their hands, {in order not to worship} the demons and the gold and silver and bronze and stone and wooden idols, which are able neither to see nor to hear nor to walk,
(Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed [is] the one who is on the alert and who keeps his clothing, so that he does not walk around naked and they see his shamefulness!)
And the nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.
