'For Us' in the Bible
But the wise answered, saying, 'Perhaps there will not be enough for us and you; go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.'
And James and John, the sons of Zebedee, come to Him, saying to Him, "Teacher, we wish that Thou wouldest do for us whatsoever we ask."
And he will show you a large upper room furnished and ready; and there make ready for us."
And they were saying among themselves, "Who will roll away the stone for us out of the door of the tomb?"
and raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of David His servant;
for he loves our nation, and he built the synagogue for us."
Is it lawful for us to give tribute to Caesar, or not?"
saying, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us, 'If any one's brother die, having a wife, and he be childless, that his brother should take the wife, and raise up seed to his brother.'
And He sent Peter and John, saying, "Going forth, make ready for us the passover, that we may eat."
Pilate, therefore, said to them, "Take Him yourselves, and judge Him according to your law." The Jews said to him, "It is not lawful for us to kill anyone:"
and are declaring customs, which it is not lawful for us to receive, or to observe, being Romans.
And these, having gone before, were waiting for us at Troas;
But God commendeth His own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
For I reckon that the sufferings of the present time are of no account in comparison with the glory about to be revealed for us.
And, in like manner, the Spirit also helpeth our weakness; for we know not what to pray for as we ought; but the Spirit Himself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?
He Who spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
who is he that condemns? It is Christ Who died, yea, rather, That was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God, Who also is making intercession for us.
Now these things became types for us, that we might not covet evil things, as they also coveted.
For our momentary light tribulation is working out for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;
Make room for us; we wronged no one, we corrupted no one, we defrauded no one.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us; because it has been written, "Cursed is every one who is hung upon a tree";

at the same time praying for us also, that God may open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ (because of which I have also become bound),
Who died for us, that, whether we watch or sleep, we may live together with Him.
Brethren, pray for us.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run and be glorified, as also it is with you:
who gave Himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify for Himself a special people, zealous of good works.
which He dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is, His flesh;
Pray for us; for we are persuaded that we have a good conscience, desiring to deport ourselves honestly in all things.
