The Son of man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all who stumble others and commit lawlessness.

It will be that way at the end of the age. The angels will come forth, and separate the wicked from among the righteous.

He will send his angels with a great trumpet sound. They will gather together the anointed from the four winds, from one end of the sky (horizon) to the other.

You who are afflicted rest with us at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with the angels of his power in flaming fire.

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these, saying: Behold, Jehovah came with many thousands of his holy ones.

I do not want you to be ignorant brothers, concerning those who are asleep (in death). You do not need to sorrow like others who have no hope. If we believe that Jesus died and rose again, God will bring with him those who sleep in Jesus. We tell you this by God's Word, that we who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not precede those who are asleep. read more.
For the Lord will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first. We that are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so will we ever be with the Lord. Comfort one another with these words.

His feet will stand in that day upon the Mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east. The Mount of Olives will be split in half toward the east and toward the west. There will be a very large valley. Half of the mountain will move toward the north, and half of it toward the south. You will flee by the valley of my mountains. For the valley of the mountains will reach to Azel. Yes you will flee the same as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Jehovah my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened. The moon will not give light. The stars will fall from heaven. The powers of the heavens will be shaken. The sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of earth will mourn. They will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send his angels with a great trumpet sound. They will gather together the anointed from the four winds, from one end of the sky (horizon) to the other.

In those days after that tribulation, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light. The stars will fall from heaven and the powers that are in the heavens will be shaken. They will see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. read more.

I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse; and he who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns (diadems). He had a name written that no man knew, but himself. He was clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. read more.
The armies in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

He will set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

He continued: Truly I tell you there are some here who will in no way experience death, till they see the kingdom of God come with power.

From that time forward Jesus made it clear to his disciples how he would have to go to Jerusalem. He told them he would undergo much at the hands of the authorities, including the chief priests and scribes. He let them know he would be put to death. The third day he would come back from the dead. Peter protested and rebuked Jesus. He said: Do not think of that, Lord; it will never happen to you. He turned to Peter and said: Get behind me, Satan. You are a stumbling block to me. You think the things of men, not of God. read more.
Then Jesus told his disciples: If any man wants to follow me (be mine), let him deny (disown) himself, and take up his stake and follow me (Greek: akoloutheo moi, let him be following me) (accompany me) (be in the same way with me). He who wants to save his life will lose it. He who is willing to lose his life for my sake will find it. What will a man profit, if he gains the whole world, and gives up his life? What will a man give in exchange for his life? The Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels. He will then reward each man according to his deeds. I tell you truly, there are some that stand here who will not experience death till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Then he taught them that the Son of man must suffer many things. The elders, chief priests, and the scribes will reject him. He will be killed and after three days he will rise from the dead. Jesus spoke openly about this. Peter took him aside and rebuked him. He turned around and looked at his disciples. Then he rebuked Peter saying: Get behind me Satan for you do not pay attention to the things of God. You tend to the things of men. read more.
He then spoke to both his disciples and the crowd. He said: If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his stake and follow me. Whoever would save his life will lose it. Whoever would lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it. What does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? What should a man give in exchange for his life? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will also be ashamed of him, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

The Son of man must suffer many things, he told them. The elders, chief priests and scribes will reject him and kill him. The third day he will be raised up. He told them all: If any man would come after me let him deny himself. Let him take up his stake (of self-denial) daily, and follow me. He who would save his life shall lose it. He who would lose his life for my sake shall save it. read more.
For what does it profit a man if he gain the whole world, and lose or forfeit his own self? If any man is ashamed of my teachings, and of me the Son of man will be ashamed of that person. This will happen when he comes in his own glory, and the glory of the Father, and of the holy angels. I tell you the truth, there are some here who shall not taste of death till they see the kingdom of God.

I have killed lions and bears. I will do the same to this heathen Philistine. He has defied the army of the living God.

What will a man profit, if he gains the whole world, and gives up his life? What will a man give in exchange for his life? The Son of man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels. He will then reward each man according to his deeds.

Now I tell you that everyone who is angry with his brother [without cause] shall be guilty before the court. Whoever speaks to his brother with words of contempt shall receive condemnation before the Sanhedrin [Supreme Court]. Curse your brother and you will be guilty enough to be destroyed by fire, with the burning trash, at the Valley of Hinnom, outside of Jerusalem (Greek: Gehenna).

The Lord Jehovah says: 'I will treat you the way you deserve, because you ignored your promises and broke the covenant.

A man will be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth. The deeds of a man's hands will return to him.

The king will mourn. The prince will be clothed with despair and the hands of the people of the land will tremble. I will deal with them according to their conduct. By their own standards I will judge them. Then they will know that I am Jehovah.'

You may say: We did not know this, but God knows and judges your motives. He keeps watch on you and knows. He will reward each man according to his deeds.

Loving-kindness belongs to you, O Jehovah. You reward a person based on what he has done.

They devour widows' houses. They offer long prayers to show off in front of others. They shall receive great condemnation.

According to their deeds he will repay them. According to their ways he will make it befall them.

He will pay them back according to their deeds. He will pay back his opponents with wrath and punish his enemies. He will pay back the people who live on the coastlands.

The end is now upon you and I will unleash my anger against you. I will judge you according to your conduct and repay you for all your detestable practices.

I paid them back for their uncleanness and their sins. I hid my face from them.'

I commanded my servants the prophets to obey my words and my statutes. They disregarded them and suffered greatly. Then they repented and admitted that I, Jehovah of Hosts, corrected them as they deserved according to their deeds.'

Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these, saying: Behold, Jehovah came with many thousands of his holy ones. They execute judgment upon all. They convict all the ungodly of all their wicked behavior, deeds that they have committed in an irreverent way, and of all the hard things those detestable sinners have spoken against him.

I solemnly charge you in the sight (presence) of God, and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:

When the Son of man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All nations will be gathered before him. He will then separate them one from another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
