Wisdom calls you! She raises her voice in the streets and marketplaces. She calls in the streets, in the opening of the gates: in the city she utters her words. She says: How long, you simple (stupid) (foolish) ones, will you love simplicity (foolishness) (stupidity)? The scoffers delight in scoffing. Fools hate knowledge! read more.
Listen when I reprove you. I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make my words known to you. I called you! I stretched out my hand to you. You paid no attention to me. You have ignored all my counsel. You accept no correction. I also will laugh at your trouble. I will mock when your fear comes. Trouble and distress will surround you like a whirlwind, like a great storm. You will ask for my help, but I will not listen. You will search, but you will not find me. You have no use for knowledge and you refuse to respect Jehovah. You rejected my advice and paid no attention when I warned you. Now you will get what you deserve for what you have done. Your own advice will make you sick. Sin and self-satisfaction bring destruction and death to stupid fools. Whoever listens to me will be secure and will be free from the fear of evil.

All goes well for the person who is generous and lends willingly. He earns an honest living. He will never be shaken. The righteous will be remembered. He is not afraid of bad news. His heart remains secure, full of confidence in Jehovah. read more.

For your Maker is your husband. Jehovah of Hosts is his name! The Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer. He is called the God of all the earth. Jehovah will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit; a wife, who married young, only to be rejected, says your God. For a brief moment I abandoned you, but with deep compassion I will bring you back. read more.
In a surge of anger I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness I will have compassion on you, says Jehovah your Redeemer. To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. So now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed, says Jehovah. I have compassion on you. O afflicted city, lashed by storms and not comforted, I will build you with stones of turquoise, your foundations with sapphires. I will make your battlements of rubies, your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones. Your sons will all be taught by Jehovah. Your sons will have an abundance of peace. You will be established in righteousness. Tyranny will be far from you. You will have nothing to fear. Terror will be far removed and it will not come near you.

The faithless in heart will be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from above.

The good man performs good things out of his good treasure. The evil man performs evil things out of his evil treasure.

A good tree does not produce corrupt fruit and a corrupt tree does not produce good fruit. The identity of a tree is made clear by the fruit it produces. Men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble. The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good. The evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth that which is evil. Out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

A good man obtains favor from Jehovah. He will condemn a man of wicked intentions.

The Son has life in himself just as the Father has life in himself. For the Father gave him life. And he gave him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of man. Do not wonder about this for the hour is coming when everyone in the grave will hear his voice. read more.
They will return. Those who did good will have the resurrection of life. Those who did evil will receive the resurrection of judgment.

Beloved, do not imitate that which is evil, but that which is good. He who does good is from God. He who does evil has not seen God.

There is nothing better for a man than to eat and drink, and delight in his work. This also I saw was from the hand of God. After all, who eats and who drinks better than I? To the man who is good, God gives wisdom and knowledge and joy. But to the sinner he gives the work of getting goods together and storing up wealth, to give to him who is good before God. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.

([Psalm of David]) O Jehovah, our Lord, how excellent is your majestic name in all the earth! You have displayed your glory above the heavens. From the mouths of little children and infants, you have built a fortress against your opponents to silence the enemy and the avenger. When I look at your heavens, the creation of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have set in place, read more.
what is man that you remember him or the son of man that you take care of him? You made him a little lower than god-like ones (God) (Son of God) (angels). You crowned him with glory and honor. (John 1:18)

You are full and now you are rich, you have reigned as kings without us. I would to God you did reign, that we also might reign with you. For I think that God has placed us apostles last as men appointed to death. We are made a spectacle to the world, and to angels, and to men. We are fools for Christ. But you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You are honorable, but we are despised.
