I have been crucified with Christ; and no longer am I living, but Christ is living in me; and, in so far as I am now living in flesh, I live in the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

Christ, therefore, having suffered in flesh, do ye also arm yourselves with the same mind; because he who suffered in flesh has ceased from sin; that ye no longer live the rest of your time in the flesh to the desires of men, but to the will of God.
And those who are of Christ Jesus crucified the flesh with the passions and desires.
Accordingly, then, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh; for, if ye live according to the flesh, ye are going to die; but, if by the Spirit ye put to death the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
