For death is the wages of sin; but eternal life is the gift of God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Therefore as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin, even so death passed upon all men, in that all had sinned.
For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as through Adam all die, even so through Christ shall all be made alive.
But the law came in between, that the offence might abound: yet where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
What shall we say then? That the law is sin? God forbid. Yea, I should not have known sin, but for the law. I had not known lust, unless the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of desire: for without the law sin was dead. And I was once alive without the law; but when the commandment came,
Wherefore then was the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made: and it was ordained by angels, in the hand of a mediator.
But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother, shall be liable to the judgment; and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be liable to the council; but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be liable to hell-fire.
But those things which proceed out of the mouth, come out of the heart, and they defile the man. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, railings.
But I say to you, That every idle word which men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, or by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and manifest the counsels of the hearts. And then shall every one have praise from God.
In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Christ Jesus, according to my gospel.
For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that every one may receive according to what he hath done in the body, whether good or evil.

The times of ignorance indeed God overlooked; but he now commandeth all men every where to repent.
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
And they went out and preached, that men should repent.
