Do that which is good, and you shall have praise from the same; for he is God's minister to you for good. Peter was grieved, because He said to him the third time "Do you fondly love Me?" and he said to Him, "Lord, Thou knowest all things; Thou knowest that I do fondly love Thee." Jesus saith to him, "Feed My sheep.

Take heed to yourselves, and to all the flock in which the Holy Spirit appointed you overseers, to shepherd the assembly of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

Give diligence to present yourself approved to God, a workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

preach the word; be urgent in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the assembly, and delivered Himself up for it,

that they may train the young women to be lovers of their husbands, lovers of their children,

the wives, to their own husbands, as to the Lord;

Ye husbands, in like manner, dwell with them according to knowledge, assigning honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint-heirs of the grace of life; to the end that your prayers be not hindered.

In like manner, ye wives, be subject to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they may, without the word, be gained through the conduct of their wives,

And, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and admonition of the Lord.

Jesus answered, "The first is, 'Hear, O Israel; the Lord is our God, the Lord is One; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your mind and with all your strength.' A second is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

And by chance, a certain priest was going down that way; and, seeing him, he passed by on the opposite side. And, in like manner, a Levite also, coming to the place, and seeing him, passed by on the opposite side. But a certain Samaritan, going on his way, came down to him; and, seeing him, he was moved with compassion; and, coming to him, he bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and, setting him on his own beast, he brought him to an inn, and took care of him. And, on the morrow, taking out two denaries, he gave them to the host, and said, 'Take care of him; and whatsoever you expend additional, I, when I return, will repay you.' Which, therefore, of these three seems to you to have become neighbor of him who fell among the robbers?" And he said, "He that dealt kindly with him." And Jesus said to him, "Go, and do likewise."
