And, because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, "Abba," Father. So that you are no longer a slave, but a son; and, if a son, also an heir through God.

What then? save that in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is being proclaimed; and in this I rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. For I know that this will turn out for my salvation, through your supplication and a supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ;

of how much worse punishment, think ye, shall he be accounted worthy, who trampled under foot the Son of God, and accounted the blood of the covenant with which He was sanctified an unholy thing, and treated with contempt the Spirit of grace?

Adulteresses! know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever, therefore, purposes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do ye think that the Scripture says in vain, "The spirit that dwells in us has jealous longings?"
