Israel's Shepherds: Good And Bad

² Wail, You fir tree, for the cedar has fallen, because the majestic ones are destroyed. Wail you oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest has come down. ³ There is a sound of the shepherds’ wail,
For their glory is ruined;
There is a sound of the young lions’ roar,
For the pride of the Jordan is ruined. ⁴ Jehovah my God said: Feed the flock doomed to slaughter.

Jeremiah 50:44
