'Lifted Up' in the Bible

He lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.

And they lifted up their voices and said, "Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!"

Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and he lifted up his hands and blessed them.
