'Lifted Up' in the Bible

And when they lifted up their eyes, they saw no one but Jesus only.

He lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God.

And in Hades, being in torment, he lifted up his eyes, and saw Abraham far off and Lazarus in his bosom.
