'Third Day' in the Bible

saying, "The Son of Man must suffer many things, and be rejected by the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised."

And he said to them, "Go and tell that fox, 'Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I finish my course.'

They will scourge him and kill him, and on the third day he will rise again."

'The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again.'"

But we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since all this happened.
