Give diligence to present yourself approved to God, a workman not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

if we endure, we shall also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us;

and they may return to soberness out of the snare of the Devil, having been taken captive by him in accordance with his will.

who erred concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and are overthrowing the faith of some.

if we are faithless, He remaineth faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.

But the foolish and ignorant questionings reject, knowing that they beget strifes;

No one, serving as a soldier, entangles himself in the affairs of life, that he may please him who enrolled him as a soldier.

Therefore, I suffer all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
