Alas! For that day [is] great, {there is none like it}. And it [is] a time of distress for Jacob, yet from it he will be delivered.

"Look, I [am] against you, O mountain of the destruction," {declares} Yahweh, "the [one] that destroys the whole earth. And I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will roll you down from the cliffs, and I will make you as a mountain burned away.

But you, Daniel, keep the words secret and seal the scroll until [the] time of [the] end; many will run back and forth and knowledge will increase."

And he said, "Go, Daniel, for the words [are] secret and [are] sealed [up] until [the] time of [the] end.

And Jesus said to them, "Truly I say to you that in the renewal [of the world], when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me--you also will sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

"Then they will hand you over to persecution and will kill you, and you will be hated by all the nations because of my name.

I know that after my departure fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. And from among you yourselves men will arise, speaking {perversions of the truth} in order to draw away the disciples after them.

and so all Israel will be saved, just as it is written, "The deliverer will come out of Zion; he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

for [you] yourselves well know that the day of the Lord is coming in the [same] way as a thief in the night.

Do not let anyone deceive you in any way, for [that day will not come] unless the rebellion comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and who exalts himself over every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits down in the temple of God, proclaiming that he himself is God. read more. Do you not remember that [while] we were still with you, we were saying these [things] to you? And you know that which restrains [him] now, so that he will be revealed in his own time. For the mystery of lawlessness is at work already; only the one who now restrains [will do so] until he is out of the way, and then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will slay with the breath of his mouth, and wipe out by the appearance of his coming, whose coming is in accordance with the working of Satan, with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with every unrighteous deception against those who are perishing, in place of which they did not accept the love of the truth, so that they would be saved.

but at the proper time has disclosed his message in the proclamation [with] which I was entrusted according to the command of God our Savior,

To the pure all [things] [are] pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing [is] pure, but both their mind and conscience are defiled.

Therefore, write [the things] which you saw, and [the things] which are, and [the things] which are about to take place after these [things].

Do not be afraid of [the things] which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw [some] of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will experience affliction ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.

And when he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slaughtered because of the word of God and because of the testimony which they had, and they cried out with a loud voice, saying, "{How long}, holy and true Lord, will you not judge and avenge our blood from those who live on the earth?" read more. And to each one of them a white robe was given, and it was said to them that they should rest yet a short time, until [the number of] their fellow slaves and their brothers who were about to be killed as they [had been] were completed also.

and swore by the one who lives {forever and ever}, who created heaven and the [things] in it, and the earth and the [things] in it, and the sea and the [things] in it, "There will be no more delay!

And one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

And he showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal, coming out from the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street, and {on both sides of the river} [is] the tree of life, producing twelve fruits--yielding its fruit according to every month--and the leaves of the tree [are] for the healing of the nations. read more. And when I heard and saw [them], I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed these [things] to me. And he said to me, "{Do not do that!} I am your fellow slave, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near! The one who does evil, let him do evil still, and the defiled, let him be defiled still, and the righteous, let him practice righteousness still, and the holy, let him be holy still." "Behold, I am coming quickly, and my reward [is] with me, to repay each one according to [what] his deeds are! I [am] the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end." Blessed [are] the ones who wash their robes, so that their authority will be over the tree of life and they may enter into the city through the gates. Outside [are] the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral people and the murderers and the idolaters and everyone who loves and who practices falsehood. "I, Jesus, sent my angel to testify to you about these [things] for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star." And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And the one who hears, let him say, "Come!" And the one who is thirsty, let him come. The one who wants, let him take the water of life freely. I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues written in this book. And if anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share of the tree of life and from the holy city that are written in this book. The one who testifies about these [things] says, "Yes, I am coming quickly!" Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! The grace of the Lord Jesus [be] with all.
