Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water:

Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any end of their chariots:

In that day a man shall cast away his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made, each for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;

And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place, where there could be a thousand vines worth a thousand silver shekels, it shall even be briers and thorns.

Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.

For bronze I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood bronze, and for stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and your rulers righteousness.
